How Does Chiropractic Work In Te Puke?
Have you ever wondered how chiropractic adjustments work in Te Puke? Well I’m going to make this as simple as I can for you. If you understand it a little better after reading this short blog, my goal has been accomplished.
With that said, let me say something that a lot of people really don’t acknowledge. Your body has the ability to heal and regulate itself. Think about that for a second. Your body can heal itself. Let’s say you cut your finger. Understand that your body heals the cut, not the bandage. If you are playing squash at the Te Puke squash club here in Te Puke and you roll an ankle, with the proper environment, the ankle will heal.
That’s not something a chiropractor will come out with and tell you up front every day, but that is something you can read in any medical book, anatomy book, or book that is telling you how the body works inside.
Millions of instructions (nerve impulses) flow from your brain, down the spinal cord and out to every organ and tissue in your body. Your body then will send signals (electrical messages) back to the brain to confirm your body is working right.
Subluxation, a chiropractic term, is when we find improper motion or position of the moving bones occurs. If something isn’t moving right, or it’s misaligned, you have a problem.
This improper motion or position of your spinal bones interferes with this vital exchange by “irritating your nerves” and “compromising the function of affected organs and tissues.” If you have a coffee pot, and someone cuts the power cord or puts a lot of weight on the cord, enough to smash the power cord in half, there’s a chance that the coffee pot isn’t going to work. If it does… it won’t be long until you have electrical issues with that cord. In fact, it’ll most likely cause some electrical problems if you continue to use it without FIXING IT. It is the exact same when dealing with your body. If you let things go, you’re going to have health issues.
Chiropractic works because of specific spinal adjustments that help improve the mind/body communications by removing the interference in your nervous system and helping you function at an optimal range for you.
Whatever you do, don’t trust your symptoms to tell you that you’re healthy or not. By the time you ‘feel bad’, the problem has manifested itself to that point. That means the problem has most likely been there for years and will ultimately take longer to correct.
For the majority of people, young and old, checked in our clinic, there has either been a significant overall improvement in their health or it has completely solved the problem they presented with. If you or someone you know is suffering call us at (07) 573 9988 for a complimentary consultation and to set up a time to have your spine and nervous system checked.
